Language
Title I Reading Program
Title I Program
is a federally funded program designed to provide extra help in reading and
language arts. Children will be involved in small groups or individual
learning experiences that will reinforce basic skills in reading and language
arts. The program also helps to enhance self-concepts. Instruction
may include comprehension and vocabulary development, reading strategies,
listening and phonemic awareness, story writing, perceptual skills and
hands-on-activities. Currently, this program is offered to a segment
of the 2nd and 3rd graders.

 Music

Piano & Organ
Private piano and organ lessons are offered to 1st to 3rd grade students. Lessons are 20-30 minutes long and are offered during the day.
|
|
Hymn Singing Program
Students participate in music as part of their academic
curriculum. As part of this program, the students are given the
opportunity to learn church hymns and perform them at the Sunday Worship
Services on a quarterly basis.
